  1. Tilex works good in the shower. Be sure to keep the exhaust fan on or the windows open since it is very strong smelling

  2. If you ask a dumb question, you’ll get a rude answer. Go to WalMart and look. Or, take a moment to look on Walmart.com instead of answers.yahoo.com.

  3. Vinegar is an excellent mold remover. And if you mix with baking soda it bubbles up and you can use for scrubbing. I’ve used it for years. And in case you are skeptical, here’s a site with info.

  6. I would use bleach, but remember not to mix it with other cleaning agents.

I’ve bought Coconbrum from there, it’ll set you back about $8. It is not scented, so you don’t have to worry about breathing in chemicals. However, depending on how bad your mould is, you may have to leave it overnight.

You didn’t indicate if the wall was tiled or painted, so to be safe for use on a painted wall, I’d use plain bleach with warm water, at about a 5% to 10% bleach mixture, depending on the severity of the mold problem. If using on a painted surface, don’t scrub too hard. Use a old soft rag or sponge in a bucket of the bleach/water mixture. Use rubber gloves to keep the bleach from drying your skin out. Wear old clothes in case you get some bleach on them. I’ve used bleach/water mixture many times for cleaning. One other mold hint. If this mold problem is in a bathroom, then it means that your bathroom doesn’t have adequate ventilation to get rid of the moisture in the air after showering or bathing. There should be a exhaust fan/vent in the bathroom for this purpose. If there is one but it’s not working, it should be replaced. If there is one that’s working and you still are getting mold, then the fan/vent isn’t adequate and should be larger. Mold spores can cause illness and actually start growing behind the walls. Hope this helps!
