killing mold! are there any alternative methods other than using bleach/tilex kind of things?
I love this site and use many of its recipes! I also use tea tree oil and water if its really bad just remember to shake the bottle often to keep it mixed together. Also let it sit for a few minutes then wipe.

p.s. mold means the air is not moving in that room and you may need a new fan.
Do not use bleach as the world thinks you should. When bleach ‘hits’ the mold it is like a miniature atom bomb and spreads the mold. You never said where the mold is and to what extent. As the first answer stated you also need air movement. You can also look on the web but remember, these are only recommendations as EPA and the Govt’ as not mandated anything. They have been staying away from it.

well bleach works for me.. pure bleach, not a diluted solution. It kills microorganisms. And it turns the area from black to white. no scrubbing or anything. I clean my shower with bleach, or The Works (doesnt kill mold).
