As Father’s Day is nearing I am thinking of getting my Father a new musical instrument he has been playing for a while now. My Dad has been playing digital pianos since he was a little kid and for some reason I want to get him a guitar. I think he still has time in him to learn a new musical instrument and on top of that I am tired of hearing the same piano sound over and over again. I don’t want to get him a piano as he already has 3 at home and I am sure mom will be complaining if he gets another one, as she is worried about the space it will use.
Guitar already is a part of me as I have been playing it since I was a little kid and is the only instrument I can play. Nw I think it’s time for me to switch to the piano and my dad to switch to the guitar, so we can share each other’s knowledge. I have my eye on few acoustic guitars to buy for my Dad. I began my playing days with acoustic guitar and I think because of its original sound acoustic is the best way to learn. Now because of acoustic I can play any guitar whether it’s electric or classical and even bass when I really have to.
My dad has been playing piano since he was little. Nowadays he shares what he learnt with children and young adults in schools and colleges. It’s also easy if you have a keyboard piano you will be able to carry it anywhere. I want to start doing something like that in few years, it will also help my financial situation with a little bit of income coming towards my household. If we collect few clients may be we can open a business to teach piano and guitar together and learning these different instruments will come in handy then.
Don’t be surprised if you a see a band called “Father and Son” in Britain’s got talent in few years, playing different instruments one by one, that would be quite hilarious and surely can be classed as a talent.
