The toxic mold and skin allergies

The sight of the toxic mold alone is enough to bring panic and worry among homeowners. Mold infestation causes various health risks such as headache, pulmonary hemorrhage, nose bleeding, chronic fatigue and (perhaps one of its major negative health effect) skin allergies.

These above illnesses are acquired in three ways – mold ingestion, mold inhalation and skin contact. Allergies, more often than not, are acquired through close skin contact between the skin and the infected area. Skin allergies are sure to beat a person especially those with a low immune system and those who already suffer from recurring allergies. The bad part about having skin allergies caused by the toxic mold is that it is oftentimes related to breathing difficulties. When not properly and immediately attended to, it could cause to shortness in breathing which in rare cases, lead to death.

So how do you protect yourself from skin allergies? First of all, you need to understand that a do-it-yourself mold remediation is a dangerous thing to do. Make sure that you have your protective gloves with you. Touching the infected area with your bare hands could result to immediate skin rashes causing allergies. Some allergies could be induced by inhalation so wearing protective masks would be a helpful tip as well. Second, it was found out that other causes of skin allergies acquired through mold remediation are linked to the type of cleaners used. We should bear in mind that commercial cleaners contain hazardous chemicals which like the toxic mold, could harm your health and your skin. Commercial cleaners contain toxins which could directly cause skin allergies so if you’re planning on a do-it-yourself mold remediation; it is highly encouraged that you use natural cleaning products for your added safety. For an effective mold removal, use green mold killers. They are not only proven effective but also proven safe not just to your health but to the environment as well.

Get rid of the black mold now and free yourself from skin allergies and other health risks.
